Ok, so I actually finished this book a very long time ago, but it turns out I didn’t write a review.
So I thought I’d listen to it again, and give it a fair review.
And I’m very glad I did, this book is great.
Here’s the Publisher’s summary.

Although know that the story is quite in depth, the writing is very good and you can clearly imagine various scenes, one that stood out is the forrest survival scene at the start of the book, and the club scene towards the middle.
I wouldn’t be so surprised if this turned into a 10 part TV mini-series or something.
There is a lot of content stuffed into 1 book and making it into a movie just wouldn’t do it justice, I mean it would probably still be good… but it just wouldn’t do it justice.
The narration is also very good, Nicholas Techosky really managed to distinguish the characters from each other & kept the excitement of the story there, as well as express the various emotions that need to be expressed.
Recommendation?
This is a book that I would definitely listen to again, and I’ve already listened to it twice.
I would recommend it for sure, but it’s a Sci-fi R-rated book, so…sex, violence, drug use etc.
I really like the concept of the anti-hero, this has been done a bit before, but the whole idea of a bunch of heroes wanting to remain relevant after all previous villains were defeated… and then ending up more morally incorrect than the supposed villains… well this is a great concept.
It reminds me a bit of Forging Hephaestus, which is an equally great book.
Either one of these would be a decent listen for sure, both having kind of similar plot lines. However Almost Infamous is definitely more focused on the bad guys.
