This evening we had our shared house’s Christmas dinner.
We had a secret Santa, and all had something festive to wear.
Lindy (the only Dutch person that is living at the house) had some little BBQ thing that you cook everything in little fry pans, and then proceed to eat whatever you want.
Anyway, lots of fun, and very happy to have housemates like this. This for me is one of the better things about being in the Netherlands, my housemates.
All 4 of them are great people.
Lindy, a Dutch girl working for the local Leiden government as a policy advisor.
Alina, a German / American girl who used to live in Jacksonville Florida, studying her Master’s in Psychology.
Chloe, a Belgian girl working for an engineering firm, a little quirky but still nice.
& Janek, a Polish guy also studying psychology.

Oh and on Sunday the 11th of December, Lindy, Chloe and I also went to the Haarlem Christmas markets, so here’s some pictures of that.
Yes… as you can see from the pictures above, I bought that snowman beanie. …And I wear it with pride.
