Its many people’s hope that once a weekend you do something out of the ordinary, something a little bit interesting from just lazing around the house or something.
This weekend, I nearly didn’t do it, in fact most of the weekend I did pretty much shit all.
Not completely true, as I wasn’t just sitting on a couch staring at a wall….not even catching up on sleep or anything, but I didn’t do much that would count as a ‘worthwhile weekend’.
Saturday….I DID in fact laze around the house, I played piano for a very long time, created the beginning or foundations of 2 tunes.
I’ve always wanted to create some songs because I mean, you hear shit on the radio and it just makes you think…. ‘this must be pretty easy’ or …most song seems to rip off other songs anyway or.. ‘sample’ them, but when you listen to the actually decent ones you realise that they are built up on very simple foundations.
So that was the aim of me sitting down at the piano for 3 hours or whatever it was.
I downloaded a new book, ‘Super Powereds Year 3’ already awesome, obviously, given the series so far.

During the week I finished my previous book ‘Dexter’s Final Cut’ , not recommended.

And for the rest of Saturday I pretty much just watched random youtube videos, bill burr’s latest podcast, and many more episodes of Dragon Ball Super.
I also watched many videos on the explanation on how to better my website. Although I haven’t done much with it yet… and unfortunately went to bed at 3am. Then woke up naturally at 9am, which meant that I had very little sleep.
So the ‘special’ thing that I did, was to go to the MC Escher museum in Den Haag. After contemplating taking the train which was to take 40 mins, or driving for 20 mins and struggling for parking…I eventually just took the car….because otherwise I’d never get out of the house.
Anyway, dad introduced my brother and I to MC Escher, when we were young. It was the first thing that I saw that made me realise I could like art. Yes, I realise that’s a strange sentence, but still. He’s the one that does the ‘impossible staircase’ or the one that we had a print of …the left hand drawing the right hand.

Anyway, here’s some pictures…hopefully it’ll make up for all the babbling.
this is by far my favourite one
