This…book…is just terrible.

It was a free book that audible gave to its members, and it was only 6 mins long so I thought, yeah bugger it, let’s check it out.

I would return it if I could, but like I said, it was free, so there’s no point.

Apparently there is some children’s book called ‘Goodnight moon’ where some child says goodnight to all the things around them, including the moon.

Stupid?      Yep.

Now based on that children’s book, some lady…who by the way is the original creator of the Huffington Post, who in my opinion should know better… decided to create this book where she informs us that we should leave our distractions (including the title-starring Smartphone) alone and say good night to everything so that we can have a good sleep, as they will be there in the morning…. Or something to this equivalent.

I’m not sure why, but she sounds like an Indian woman when she’s doing the narration.

She is NOT Indian by the way, apparently she’s Greek.

She’s tried hard to rhyme things with others… although you just get the overwhelming sensation that everything is forced and everything becomes irritating to you.

As I said, it was only 6 minutes, so I could persevere… but if it was any longer I think my eye twitching stemming from sheer annoyance would be too much and I would have had to angrily yell out loud and then hurriedly try to delete it from my phone, both in an effort to remove it the whole concept from my life and memories.

Even if it IS free, I do not recommend this book.

I am well aware that in reading this review, you’ve probably spent 6 mins, which is the same time that you would have spent to just listen to the book… but trust me on this, this was a better use of your time.
