So yesterday I got my vehicle registration card in the mail as well as my DigID number which allows me to login to Dutch government websites.

As soon as I pick up my motorbike and get my 30% tax ruling so that I don’t have to do my Dutch driver’s license… I will be happily integrated.

And then I can focus on work and life here uninterrupted.

As much as this is all a painful process, it seems to be so much easier than China.

I still can’t speak any of the language though, except for lekker which = tasty, and slaap lekker = good night, or literally sleep tasty.

I love that word.
