So I guess a few of you know that I really like books now that I realised that you can get them in audio format…and I don’t have to actually physically read the book.
So for mums birthday last year I got her an audible.com subscription because I was enjoying mine so much and thought she would enjoy it too.
It turns out that if you have an American address, which we do because mum & dad spent nearly 5 years living in the USA setting up a division of the company there, that you can link 2 accounts together provided that you are related to the person. So that’s what we did.
Basically mum has access to her account, and my brother also has access to it, via her ‘2nd device’ and my dad has access to my account via my ‘2nd device’ so the whole family can listen to audio books which is pretty convenient.
My dad has been catching up on the books I’ve been reading, and occasionally I suggest books to my brother such as Ready Player One and Off to be the Wizard if I think he will enjoy them. Which he has so far I guess.

Dad has recently just informed me that he is catching up on the books in my library starting with An Atheist’s Guide to Christmas and from there he will go for David & Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell (the same guy that wrote Outliers) but then I’ve been pointing out to him that there are many books that he should get into such as, God is disappointed in you, and The Daily show presents- Earth, with Jon Stewart

Mum is off on her own direction, making her way through collections of Sidney Sheldon’s, Nora Roberts’ and Jodi Picoult’s. Which to be honest I read one Sidney Sheldon’s books and it was very interesting. I might have to get into them a bit later.

In fact I’d recommend you all get into them. You can find them all on audible of course, but as many of you know there’s always other ways to get them.
I’m looking forward to reading the 4th book in the Circles in Hell series- The Reluctant Demon.

I think after learning so much from the Malcolm Gladwell books, I need a bit of escapism.
Fantastic series, I recommend it to all!
There’s meant to be an advert below which is a link for you to get 2 free audio books….if you can’t see it, ‘allow ads’ or ‘disable adblocker’ from your adblocker software on this website.
