Ok so I’ve been wanting to get this done for some time.  Someone posted the original picture in one of the Beijing motorbike group chats… and I thought, great I need to have this but in Chinese for all the Chinese drivers out there.

I mean, that is their one biggest problems…is playing on the phones whilst they’re driving.

So this would be perfect.

I did a little translation myself, and then passed it onto my teacher and onto a few Chinese motorbike groups to get their opinions.  And this is what we came up with:

要是我把你的手机塞到你的屁眼里,你能好好开车吗?

And then a friend, Filipe that buys a lot of stuff on taobao.com for his bike and to improve his riding experience suggested the perfect e-shop to get it done.

This:

And so today we sorted out the look of it, and I’m going to get 5 units.

Here’s the final version:

In Chinese 吗 = ?  however most of the time you also add the ‘?’ in 。 so I’m just wondering if we should add the ‘?’ in just because it looks a bit better.
Ok, final final version:

The 你的屁眼里  has been enlarged to really stress the point. 你的屁眼里 literally means ‘Your arse eye inside’   hahha how great is that?

It will go over the top of my riding jacket, so the size needs to be pretty big. But in this way it means I can still be highly visible, get Chinese drivers to pay attention and still be safe whilst wearing my normal protective wear.

The only problem is that most of the time when I’m commuting I’m having my back pack as well, which of course would cover the whole funny print.

So we’re now in the process of asking if he does something like a waterproof bag cover like with an elastic outside (so you can stick it over your normal backpack and keep it dry when it rains)   and then print the same stuff on it.

That would be awesome.

Anyway I’m going for 5 of the jackets and then I can give them as presents to people that would appreciate it.
