Currently listening to:
-The Secret History of the American Empire, John Perkins (book 2 following ‘Confessions of an Economic Hitman’)
-Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: So You Want to Be a Jedi, Adam Gidwitz

Hahaha this is clearly designed for young listeners and its pretty funny because it skips all the ‘mushy’ parts as it refers to them.
Halfway through listening, but a little bit bored of at the moment:
-Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World, Jack Weatherford

-Shantaram: A novel, Gregory David Roberts

-The Art of War, Sun Tzu

Why?: It’s not really appropriate as an audio book edition, you need to visualise clearly the strategies & review. Very difficult to do that in audio book guise)
-Eat, Move, Sleep: How Small Choices Lead to Big Changes, Tom Rath

Why?: I found I need to sleep more. Eating healthy I realised comes from not being so tired and choosing the right time of day to leave sufficient space to eat.
And at the moment staying away from Chinese food. & Move – I have taken sufficient steps to make sure I will be doing a lot of movement in the future (changing apartments & trying to do 1 interesting thing each weekend)
Just finished listening to:
-Make it Stick: The Science of Learning, Peter Brown

Intending to listen to either after the current book or during:
-Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: So You Want to Be a Jedi, Adam Gidwitz
(apparently told from a new perspective…sounds interesting enough)

-The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make A Big Difference, Malcolm Gladwell

(Either the book before or after ‘Outliers’ the famous book that states the 10,000 hours of practice to become properly professional at something)
Was recommended this from Marcus, the owner of Q-Mex (a great Mexican restaurant here in Beijing, even a Mexican friend says it is decent)
-‘Children of the Jedi’, Barbara Hambley
The 1st part of a 3 part series called the ‘Callista Trilogy’

-Reflex, Steven Gould (Part of the ‘Jumper’ series following the story of Davy who has the ability to teleport)

I listened to ‘Griffith’s Story’ the guy from the movie who has powers beyond that of the main character… and starts fighting the obvious bad guys.
The movie wasn’t that amazing, especially given the great concept, but book ‘Griffith’s Story’ was actually pretty good.
