I’m moving apartments because the lease is up on the one I’m in at the moment.
I’m moving in to a place shared with a Chinese/ Dutch girl, she has the big room and I have the smaller one.. And its quite expensive if it was just the room…but I think its nice to be living in an apartment that is clean and foreign.
It’s in a nice location, convenient for me… and this is what justifies the price a bit more, not only does it have a big enough kitchen and living room…and my own bathroom as well as underground secure parking for my motorbikes. (oh yes I now have a total of 3 but we’ll get to that later) but also full access to the complex’s recreation centre. Which includes swimming pool (25m) , small gym, 2 karaoke rooms, 2 ping pong tables, a pool-hall…with snooker (which is actually quite rare in China) and… and… a squash court.
My own squash court! That’s amazing.
Plus, there’s also a room with a grand piano in it. So even though I will have my keyboard up in the apartment I can come down and have a go on that.
Oh and outside there’s also 2 tennis courts, a mini soccer pitch and a basketball court… but as I don’t play any of that It doesn’t mean anything to me.
So anyway I’m really excited to be moving there. I think its well worth the extra price.
Plus just across the road there is a full chinese food market, so very easy to get all the ingredients to cook at home… so I don’t need to ride out and carry back back-packs full of stuff….which is never convenient.
