Ride to work with the new bike, raining, airport expressway

I rode to work today… in the rain, on the airport expressway

It was hell !

and I took a video, so maybe you can see when I get some editing skills how it was

You can’t see anything, no one has their lights on, hardly anyone indicates…. you can barely even see the road.  and the bike feels like it has zero grip.

I planned to ride the bike to work every day this week so I can test it in different conditions and put some miles on it and its certainly getting a workout for the conditions.

Also… that left hand light….turns out it wasn’t the ‘incoming call’ light,   it was actually the fuel light.

I ran out of petrol where shunpinlu meets jingmi lu…. like on the roundabout, on the inside of it. had to push it across 3 lanes of round about madness and push it to a petrol station

hahah I took a shortcut yesterday across the forest, and it handled it no problem. I think that’s where it could shine, so perhaps I should try a bit more of that.

shineray dirt track 27th

It seems the 4th gear is a bit like your my friends Benelli 300’s 2nd gear, like you have to get it to a higher speed before you change to 5th, sometimes its a bit laggy.

Honestly I was thinking on the way to work, I think the Benelli 300 may in fact be the perfect Beijing bike.

Like, it looks good, it’s powerful enough, it can go faster when you want to, the riding position is pretty good, and it looks good.
(I know i said it twice, but it does look pretty good) oh and the price is pretty decent.
